We are NOT kids---we are in our 50's--just thought it would be kind'a fun and silly at the same time-but we need some ideas. We are doing the dinner/lake cruise/etc--just thought a small token would be fun!

If you're being childish and silly, act the part.

Write him a mash note...get him something frivilous for a man his age...stickers, comic books, baseball cards...maybe a "friendship pin" you make that he can attach to his shoe....

Or, if you're thinking of something more practical, there's nothing wrong with getting him a premium cut of steak. No, I'm not kidding.

If you're thinking something more romantic, some sort of charm of yours would suffice. Like a really modest (not too girly) brooch that you may have. Pin it on him for the date, he'll probably want to keep it :)

i'm 17 too, lmfao. My boyfriend and that i celebrated our 5th "monthiversary" 2 days in the past with the aid of listening to a boy reciting the Quran (it is Ramadan for him and we will not do something sexual). no longer perfect for you, huh? Haha. i could recommend a topic park at night whilst it is somewhat romantic. Or a honest. And only experience rides jointly. that could genuinely instruct how exciting it is to be jointly for yet another month. Or a visit to a pair fancy affordable eating place like Outback Steak domicile of T.G.I. Fridays or pink Lobster.

I think gifts are a bit much for 1 month. The cruise should be enough. Maybe a home made card letting him know how glad you are he's in your life.

You are in your 50's? Have him lay naked on the bed and write "Do Me Daddy" down his belly with coolwhipp - and continue as adults do! If that isn't up your alley, how about $xx.xx worth of lottery tickets. You both took a chance on each other and so far so good :) Congratulations!

You are doing enough already. Just get a nice card and you will have your chance to buy a big gift for your one year anniversary. Good Luck.

Sweetie at your age choose whatever you want whether it be something expensive or inexpensive. eg small painting, tickets to a concert,a collect-able,old movie pass,a music CD or a singing telegram.
