There's this girl, Tammy, who my's online friend. She lives long-distance, and I love her. She's not interested in hooking up with me, and bless her, but I wish she could understand how much I love her. I haven't talked to her for a long time, was I being too nice and scared her away? I don't want to make her feel bad, I just want to stay friends with her and get to know her better.

True feelings for someone over the internet are often simply mild or friendly in nature. You can't really get to know someone over the internet, as you only see parts of their personality. My suggestion is to just relax and hang out. If you continue to think that you like this person, perhaps it will be worth meeting up with and hanging out with her some day. Don't have high expectations though, and don't tell her you love her, because saying that without having experienced being near her is more than you can honestly know, and will more than likely lead to stress and feelings of obligation or disappointment later on.

Sorry hun, but if she isnt interested then there really isnt much you can do. Just be her friend online...be happy with what you can get, dont push her for more especially if you know she doesnt want more...
