My Husband's Parents are elderly. They live in England. I am wondering if one passes away, if there is any way the other could come and live here in the US legally. Does anyone have any knowledge about immigration laws regarding this situation?

Most likely, your husband would have to become a US citizen. After that he should be able to bring his parents in. Lawful permanent residents are only allowed to petition for their spouses and children. Here is link for more info on the immigration thru family members: http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/services/residency/family.htm

I don't know much about the laws but, if you check into it you and your husband might be able to get them Both here. If your willing to provide them a place to stay. Please take the time and research this. If there willing to come you'd be better seerved having them here while alive rather than wait to bring over the surviving one. Good Luck wish I could have been of more help.

Why don't you look for the Immigration and Naturalization Service on line? There should be something on its site pertaining to your question.

once your husband is eligible for naturalization he should go for it. then he could petition for them to come here on a green card. any other way would be hard.
