You know what i mean? When you buy a home made burrito, in a taco stand or something the beans taste good.. But the burritos you buy in the supermarket( Packaged burritos such as TINA's burritos in California) have beans that taste bad. Or am i getting bad burritos? By the way i'm talking about this kind:

So anyways, are they selling these cause they want to make money and don't really care about the customer?

Packaged burritos are generally wrapped in plastic. Even if you just take the plastic wrap off and eat them, you will still taste the off-gasing from the plastic. The polymers that the plastic is made out of can contain natural estrogen compounds. And estrogen compounds have been implicated in some forms of cancer (particulary breast cancers in men as well as women).

So a fresh burrito prepared under hygenic conditions with reasonably fresh ingredients will generally be more healthy for you than a wrapped and refrigerated one. But if your dining choices are confined to the supermarket, and a burrito is the healthiest prepared food you can find there, then eating one or two now and then won't hurt you that much. Just take all the plastic off and re-wrap in a paper towel if you're going to reheat them.

As for why they're selling them--they'll sell anything if people will buy it. Some people in grocery stores just have to have burritos, so that's why the stores carry them. If there's really enough demand, the store deli may offer them fresh, which would be a tastier and healthier option for the customer. But that's only an option if there's a whole lot of demand.

No I don`t like the taste of the beans neither they don`t care about Tina`s burritos. It could be when we put them in the microwave. Maybe were are doing it all wrong huh?

Made in Tijuana and wrapped in Saran Wrap, so when you reheat them, you are eating melted Saran Wrap.
