ok...the guy i like moved to washington...the day before i was going to ask him out! i am really shy and i have had a boyfrend but never talked to a guy on the phone. what should i say to a guy on the phone? more specific, the guy i like but he lives in another state.

Try it out and give him a call. What have you got to lose right? That is if your willing to do the long distance thing. If not, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. Long distance relationships are hard enough the way it is....trust me I'm in one......and its not easy. So if you think he's worth it and that he'll want to have a relationship with you and you are brave enough to take some possible rejection then try it out. If not, it wasn't meant to be. (And its better now, than to have gotten deeply involved with him!)

Forget it! Long distance relationships are tough at best and it sounds like you need some experience before you try to take on something that requires a lot more knowledge than you now possess.

just ask him how he likes been where he is and then start talking about things that u have done on that day and then just take it from there. i am known to stay quite sometimes there is just nothing to say and that is okay. good luck.
