Their is no "best". It's all a matter of preference, as you can see by the plethera of suggestions.

The "best" is going to be what YOU like. Go to a pro audio shop and grab a listen. Some of the better shops have functioning displays.

Whichever amp you decide to go with, make sure it is CEA compliant.

If an amp doesn't have this rating, it may not produce the watts it says it does thus you'd be getting ripped off.

It depends on what your asking:

Sub - JL Audio W7
Mono Sub Amp - Rockford Fosgate Power T30001bd
Mid and Tweet amp - Rockford Fosgate Power T8004
Component - Diamond
In Dash DVD player - Eclipse AVN7000

Everyone is going to have their own preference but these are pretty much top of the line.

////Alpine is the best, but to expensive for how much power you get but as far as quality it's defiantly the best. For the most out of you dollar and still top of the line quality I'd go with Audiobahn. And JL is the best selling speaker on the market right now but their a branch off of ////Alpine and they also charge way to much for their product, The audiobahn flame compressions, eternal, and Immortal are in my opinion the best subs on the market for a fair price

From experience I like the Kenwood and Pioneer. But everyone I know has Alpines. It all goes with what you like. I currently own a Kenwood and am pretty much satisfied.

there are different names in defferent departments. but alpine is a good all around brand, so is kenwood and jvc. It all depends on your budget. If your budget allows you could go high end with focal speakers, zapco amplifiers and JL subs.

jl, alpine, mtx, kicker, all those suck

go with boss or visonik cause its my PREFERENCE and are in my opinion, WAY WAY WAY WAY BETTER!!! ESPECIALLY THE 60 DOLLAR BOSS R-12 RIOT SERIES SUBWOOFER!!! YAHH!!!

give a freakin break

JL, Kicker, /////Alpine, MTX, Audiobahn, Pioneer, Kenwood, Rockford Fosgate, Memphis, and even Sony are among the best.

I don't know much about Eclipse. If anyone has a good website for Eclipse audio, please send me the link, thanks!
