I am generally a well-liked, educated, outgoing woman of color. But it seems to me that all men want from me is sex, and I wont give them that! What can I do to attract the right kind of man, instead of these "dirtbags" that I see out on the street everyday. I want so much more out of life, alot of good things are happening to me in my life, starting my own clothing line, publishing my poetry, and working out trying to start my own business. What seems to be the problem with me attracting these old *** men that are 50 yrs.old, or the young ones that dont know what they want me, or my best friend. Its like I have ran out of options its like I dont know what to do. Are there any suggestions to help a sistah out!!! Thanks so much! Rasheedah

Hey girl, I was in your shoes forever. I just found my soul mate and i am 27 years old. I had guys only want me for sex or my money or to just plain old use me. I finally just got patient and didn't look too hard. Right now your being desperate. Just kick back and it will all fall into place. I told myself I will just be independent and go out and have fun. My man lived 2 doors down from me. Just be patient and the right guy will come along. You will know when he does too!!!!! good luck!

Not sure what advice to give except stop looking. When you least expect it there he'll be. Focus on your life (which sounds like you r definately going in the right direction) and date casually, but don't be "on the hunt", somehow guys sense it and usually take that as meaning you just want casual sex. It'll happen.

It sounds to me like you have a good head on your shoulders. You dont have to have a man to be happy, you seem busy and very motivated to do well in life. Just keep going like you are and in time the right man will come to you when you least expect it. Good Luck!!!

Keep living your life as you are doing. Go to some places that have the kind of man you want, like church, fitness place, etc... Be patient and someone will come along.
