Allah is God in Arabic . All Christians and Moslems of the arabic speaking areas calls God by this name.

Allah means the One or The God . Its not Female and not Male. Its single entity.

In simple terms its God in Arabic. Used among Arabic speaking people Christians and Moslems from Yemen to Lebanon to Marroco and even in Europe, MALTA.

To the Moslems and Eastern Christians "Allah" worship by Moslems is the same God but different in concept.

The Vatican once issued a statement that the Moslems worship the same God but the Moslems rejects the trinity.

Moslems worship the God of Abraham mainly.

The Universe is large and vast , if we peeped at the Telescope we would realise that we all worship the same Creator and if we dont have any religion or believes in God we would think how stupid we all are.

Yes and no.
Islam teaches that there is only one God.
Conversly, Christianity states that there is one God, with three parts: God, his son, and the holy spirit.

So as you can see, both religions worship God, except Christians also worship Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Please note that does not mean they worship 3 Gods, just 1 God with 3 (confused? it okay. im not a christian to explain trinity as i dont believe in it )

Yes, and so do Jews.

These religions ALL worship the same god. They are ALL derived from the same teachings. You can do research on this if you like. You will find that the answer is quite easy to find.

Most christians will tell you that they do not. The fact is that christians are blind to the truth of the world because they have a very narrow minded view of it.

The only difference between Islam's god and Christianity's is that Christianity says God had a son and that they are both God. Other than that they are the same god.
Muslims do not believe in three forms of God, only one, while Cristians do.

for Littlebit2436: If there is only one God, why do we have a commandment that says "thou shalt worship no other god before me"? Why did God call himself a "jealous god" if there are no other gods to be jealous of?

Did God mis-speak?

As for the original question, yes, they worship the same God. They disagree about the rank Christians place upon Jesus but they clearly respect Jesus as a representative of Allah.

They used to. They started out as the same religion, but they split once Abraham had two sons, Isaac, and his kind of Half son, Ishmael (who was not the son of his wife sarah, but the son of his concubine hagar). Muslims believe that ishmael was the child of promise, while Christians believe that isaac was, he being the father of Jacob, and the lost tribes. They started out worshiping the same God, Everthing just got mixed up. But if they are different, i'll stick with my Christian God.

There is only one God, the God of the Holy Bible, and I believe that Muslims, despite their sincerity, worship a false god. Allah is not the God of the Bible.
