Great love can give us hope to dream

That dawn will follow darkest night

That peace will triumph in the end.

And somehow make it all to right.

There must be more to it than this:
Great love in God brings hope that in the end right will triumph and it will be ok in the end.
Without knowing the rest that is how I would see it..

to me it seems to be about god and the whold world accepting god. Accepting god into ur heart means that you are exchanging a love with him - "Great love" - and "hope to dream" means that 1. you will have hope for the world and everything and 2. that you still might be able to dream without them being dashed from outside factors (I believe that there can be peace in the middle east- w/out god there is no hope for it seems that there will always be terrorists and fighting there- with god there is hope, for when everyone gives their heart to god they will love first and hate last. Now in this poem, the dream is "that dawn will follow darkest night" - kind of seeing the light. darkest night stands for horrible things happening in the world or to ourselves, etc. Dawn is the beginning of a new time- a good time for we are able to actually "see" now that there is light and are able to experience good, or God. "that peace will triumph in the end" is the same thing- that there will be light after darkness- that good will follow bad- that God will lift us from violence and hatred. "And somehow make it all to right" is what the "light" or God or peace really is. It is what is "right" in the world and ourselves and everything. Very good poem. I like it alot

I think it means that from the love of god you can overcome bad things that happen in life. I like it, good job.

lol, to you it obviously means something different than it does to me.

If you take the lyrics of John Lennon's "Imagine", delete a few lines from that song....then your poem and those lyrics mean almost the same to both of us :)

It's not rambling. Actually its pretty lucid, but then I have an I.Q of 168.

Simply, it says, "Its gonna be O.K."

to me it means
God is who my hope is in and if I trust in Him He will bring me through all trials ,I will have peace in the midst of a storm and I will be victorious.
