Me and my hubby are having a debate!! I say hard boiled eggs must be stored in the fridge and he says you can leave them sit at room temperature. Does anyone know the answer to this question?

fridge.
The possible salmonella may be already dead, but because of the protien in eggs they make an excellent medium for lots of (new) bacteria

Yes they do need refrigeration. If I were you I would boil up so many many and dozens of eggs and leave out of the refrigerator and let them STINK STINK STINK..........and see if your husband likes the smell.
