Don't! You have an ear infection because your ears are dirty to begin with and the water moisture may have contributed to the cause after. Anyway, water supposes to be good and clean your body and ears. You just have to clean your ears after the swimming then you will be fine. Use a q-tips wet with alcohol and clean the ears. If you already have an ear infection, then stop swimming until it heals.

I be afflicted by an identical challenge as you! I had an ear an infection some weeks back and function been given water in my ear and my entire ear grew to alter into into blocked up. My magic trick is to consistently located some Vaseline (which acts as a barrier cream and could desire to end watering from shifting into the ear) on the top of cotton wool and located it on your ear. it works thoroughly. My Mum has an entire in her eardrum and could desire to't get it moist and it is what the well being care expert pronounced for her to do, too. attempt it! i'm hoping it works! (:

Wax earplugs worked great for me when I was younger. You should be able to find them in the pool section at Walmart,Kmart,etc...Plus they mold to the shape of your ear.
As for something homemade, I'm not sure.

Or you can go bare...when you're finished swimming, try blow drying your ears. Sounds silly, I know...but it works.
