As a former student in Manchester it is great for nightlife but Brighton has a beach and a more laid back atmosphere

manchester has the biggest economy outside london in the uk!! which basicaly means its all goin on in manchester. i live in liverpool but i have mates that go to both manchester and brighton and manchester wins everytime

depends whether you are gay or alive (manchester) or want to spot stupid celebs like the infernal mccartney, or zoe ball,(brighton).

manchester has improved since the i r a had the good sense to blow up the vile arndale centre!
