I don't have a daughter.......yet, but I wouldn't set an age limit for it because of the fact it depends on how much hair she has. If it is making her embarrassed then I would let her now. Just explain to her that you may need to guide her the first few times because those little knicks can hurt. If she is in a situation were she is being made fun of, i would let her so she doesn't became angry at you for her friends making fun....if that's the case. good luck :)

Well this was a hard one for me.....10 would probably be a good age...my daughter on the other hand shaved at an early age...8...she was just such a fury little thing even as a young child.....I kept telling her no when she asked because she was getting made fun of all the time at school....so after her father and I had a talk we both agreed that kids can be so brutal to each other and if we could do something about it as simple as letting her shave then we would do it. So I bought her the razors w/ the guards on them at first but then discovered that the Venus razors were the best for her and she did well with them.......now she has been shaving for 4 years and I can say that it was the best decision that I could have made....the kids stopped the teasing and life as a kid went back to normal for her.

Its no longer about age, yet its even as hair is noticable on the legs- no one is mushy with furry legs and everyone must have adequate hygenie experience to no longer bypass out in public with furry legs. So in case your 9 365 days previous daughter has hair on her legs, let her shave- For the first time (i'm assuming your a lady), let her bathe with you, this manner you could tutor her a thanks to authentic shave her legs and which spots no longer to shave (around the vagina) and also you should help her shave her legs the first time so she doesnt reduce herself. After she receives the draw close of it, then enable her to shave on her personal.

I'd say from 10-12 depending on how badly she wants to shave and where she wants to shave. I started at 12 or 13 because I was so afraid of a razor. My mom doesn't believe in shaving, but she never prohibited me from doing it. Just make sure you show her the right way to do it.

I plan on letting my daughter start either when she starts her period or when most of her friends are. She is only 7, so I have a couple of years before the time comes. My Mom didn't set a time for me. I just started when I wanted to! :-) We were just girls at home, so the razor was always in the shower.
