I'm going to a greek wedding, but my friend told me that it's traditional for the party to pin monkeys to the brides dress or something? is this true??? sacrificing baby monkeys sounds kinda harsh! and where whould I get one?

Probably your friend hates you or wants to make you a very fat joke. Maybe you should know that Greece is in Europe and monkeys don't live here but in the jungle, at the first place!
You are also invited in Greece to see a real Greek wedding, that has nothing to do with with monkeys or movies.

Watch the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and then make your decisions about the monkey thing. Ask someone in the wedding party about the monkey thing if you are so concerned. I'm sure you'll be laughing along with them in the end.

Some Greek king has died by an ape's bite. So, monkeys live freely there because Greece is oriental place. Exotic one.

It's not real monkeys...that would be a bit messy. Monkeys are a sign of fertility.
