ok i just got my braces off(2 weeks ago actually) and ive had to get a retainer, which is like a see-through(clear coloured) mouth-guard but im still slightly worried that guys wont notice me, like i mean they wont like me because of it?????

Besides you are too young to be worried about this stuff anyway. When you get older, you will meet real men who will appreciate you for who you are.

Anyone that doesn't like you because of a retainer wasn't worth having in the first place.
Anyway, most people won't even notice it - I had one of those clear ones for a while and people have to be staring into your mouth from an inch away to see it... !
Also you can take it out on special occasions (it is a removable one I assume?) If they haven't given you a container then buy a small plastic box - a travel soap container is good - and keep it in your bag, then when you need to, you can pop it out and store it safely

as i said if someone dint like u cause u had braces or retainer then please! dont accept them when they notice u dont got em anymore,

ah, no big deal. I had a retainer, I had to wear it 24hrs a day for a year, to begin with I lisped a bit but after a while I got used to it, you can barely notice it really. I still have to wear it at night.

Practically every kid has braces now. It's not a big deal any more. Get over it.

As most of the guys have already said, braces can be sexy, if your not convinced, wear a low cut top and let your boobs be the centre of attention................

I wouldnt worry about it. There are plenty of men out there who find that sort of thing appealling. Problem is they are all 50.
