I need some good, healthy meals for my 1 year old. I make sure to give him a balanced dinner but I don't want to repeat myself to death and give him the same thing over and over. He will eat practically everything but I don't want his tummy to get too upset. Any good ideas will be appriciated. We do give him Chicken Nuggets and Fish Sticks, however they are baked NOT fried. Again, any ideas would be appriciated.

Thank you!

whole grain oatmeal
health smart pancakes with fresh blueberries (no syrup or butter)
organic all natural applesauce
whole wheat toast with apple butter
watermelon
strawberries
eggs
hashbrowns

Lunch-
Assorted homemade pasta salads
chicken
black bean chili
crackers
cheese
cottage cheese
avacado slices
rice caseroles
hot dogs cut up
gold fish (whole wheat)
unsalted pretzels

Dinner-
usually any of the same from lunch, or what we are eating
spagetti
any pasta dishes
veggie burgers (morning star)
veggie bites he loves the artichoke and spinach
and the broccoli and cheese
carrots
black beans
green beans

for snacks he eats

Music allows you to eat more. According to a report by the journal Psychology as well as Marketing, soft, classical tunes encourage you to take time over your supper, so you consume more meals. So, switch off – silence can make you more aware of what you’re putting in your mouth.

It’s Friday brunch time and you just can’t stop going back with regard to seconds. But hang on! Stop for a minute and suck on an extra strong mint. The flavour can put you off that 3 rd plate of chicken korma/roast beef/sushi medley.

Wow, I didn't know you could get baked Chicken Nuggets. I'm actually answering this question because I have the same concerns. Some meals I feed my baby are.

Chicken franks
Cheese stick
Green beans

Yogurt
Deli turkey-ham
apple slices

Chicken chunks
Pasta shells
peas

Turkey chunks
cut up grapes
bagel and cream cheese

Chicken corn dogs(maybe not the best)
peaches
mashed potatoes

I also feed my baby pretty much whatever we are having for dinner just cut up into smaller pieces. I am just lucky that he likes most food. Good luck.

Buy smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is really a lot easier – those diminutive amounts suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to consume less.

Be a kid yet again! When eating out, order the child’s sandwich, pizza or cheese pizza. Then you can have the treats you love, while reducing your portions and cutting your calorie intake.
