That depends on the type of man , if responsible work , if family man his family first then work , If single and home with parents his friends , if a quiet and likes to be alone then hobbies . If wanting to get married his girlfriend , First would be knowing if he has goals , if he has closeness with family , These priorities change sometimes .My son has always been close to me , his wife isn't too happy about it .I told him to just call don't come by so much , let her adjust ( as she doesn't call or see or mom ) So she doesn't understand the closeness. She has tried to force him to make choices , arguing just before he should go to work , he was late a few times .I told him your sole mate is forever , I am always going to be mom , but she wants the 25 years we have shared , so just relax she's not had this family up bringing . Now she calls to talk and ask what should come first , Without work you'll fight about money,if you expect a family man how can you get upset he loves his ? Hope this helps . A girlfriend sorry would be last , because unless it's a strong relationship , his buddies will many times be first and Hobbies .Try to enjoy the hobbies and that's something to share and closer to less steps .

It depends on the phase of his life

Age 1-7 Security - Emphasis is on secure living. He is easily frightened and seeks security in family members.

Age 7-13 Ego - Game playing, sports willing to try things that may be harmful. Attitude "I can do that, its easy."

Age 13 - 21 Social - Friends and social standing are very important. Girl are an important part of this phase as are social skills. A little education makes him feel like a genius.

Age 21 - Economic - Earning a living, getting married and supporting a family dominate this the longest phase.

Then number one priority for most men is women. But work and friends round it all out. For as many men you ask you will get a different answer to this.

When they have matured however....it is a family.

Most guy think that their work is their number one priority.

Then the family.

Then the hobbies...

Then the girlfriend...

and if there is still time and energy left....he tries to make his wife happy.

It all depends on the guy, it all depends on his maturity and his personality. When we're young getting out of bed is a big priority, then as we age sex, then when you start to become a man success is important then you start to realize just being happy is important. It always changes. I personally focus on being happy and making sure my girlfriend is happy with me.

#1 priority of men, is to be happy. Give us some food, enough money to pay for our toys, and a hot chick by our side and we're set.

To be happy. Sure sex is a part of that but not all. Have the basics covered, food, shelter, relationships. Women sweetin the deal in my opinion : )
