I've been looking around and so many poeple have the wrong information on JW's. I am one of them(yes I know my user name on here is strange, it's an inside joke) so I would know. You people are saying that if you're not JW that you will not go to Heaven and that we are an Anti-Christ group/cult. That is false information! We go to Jesus's Memorial every year on Nissan 14th(the day he died according to the Hebrew calender). How can you say that? Some of you people don't even listen to what we have to offer! Why is that? Why do so many people hate people like me/JW's?

They cannot help themselves, it seems. Such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

lol. You asked the stupidest question on Yahoo Answers. We don't like you guys because you come door to door harrassing people and when they say they are not interested they continue to harrass people and won't go away. Your religion "expands" on the bible. None of what your people say is found any where in the world and you believe in the exploitation of women. You all are sick and nearly destroyed an entire town because of your beliefs. Your people went to war against the government. People now a days say that Muslims and all of these other religions are horrible and sent from Satan. I don't believe that to be true but I do believe that Jehovah's Witnesses are from Satan and meant to destroy this world.

Why would someone want to hear or know what YOU have to offer?
Last I knew, and understood, was that God, through the holy Ghost, given to each of us who ask, through the Resurrection of Christ, has the only words we are to hear.
I do not judge you or your belief, and as we are told by Paul not to judge another by what they eat, drink, wear, or with regard to sabbath.
Mans traditions will fold and fall.
The Spirit in us will reveal the truth, and Jesus did say remember my death and not my birth.
Remember that God has instructed us to have no other God before him.
That includes Christ as God.
In the beginning was the word,
The word was with God and the word was { A* } God.

People hate you because you dedicate your lives to annoying people DOOR TO DOOR. Most annoying people just annoy the people they happen to come across on any given day... you people go out of your way to annoy as many people as possible. That alone is reason enough for people to not care what you have to say. Plus, let's face it, all you have to offer is recruitment in your little club of people who endlessly annoy other people. Who really wants to be that guy?

I don't hate you....and I don't hate Jehovah's Witnesses. You are are a Christian because you believe in Jesus Christ. Your beliefs are different than many Christians though. I don't believe that same as you, but I still respect you, and I admire the faith that you do have.

I don't know anyone who hates them. I have listened to Jehovah's Witnesses in Puerto Rico before. But they usually didn't want to listen to me after that (I am Mormon). Have a happy day.

Having been raised a catholic, I HATED any seen God and each time faith replace into stated in verbal replace, i could only stay quiet - in any different case, i could spit fire! I denounced this faith as quickly as I became 15 and it replace into no longer till I reached my early 30's, whilst encountered the witnesses and brazenly invited them to talk with me. before, my husband could invite them in for chats yet i could disguise and then call for to understand why he replace into captivating them! Yep, I genuinely have a obscure memory of seeing them around and approximately, and did all i could desire to to no longer be observed! So I became a witness because of the fact out of all the different non secular literature I had examine, i got here across theirs to be, how am i able to place it - like coming domicile! ALL my questions have been spoke back and that i replace into in awe with all of it and alter into particularly ashamed that I seen them a cult interior the 1st place! It replace into mutually as i replace into interpreting, that I realised no be counted if I enjoyed it or no longer, I had to return out of my convenience zone and dedicate myself to Jehovah - for i could no longer deny He replace into the fact and knew that if I did to make the leap (lol literal too), i could sense sorry approximately it deeply! i'm a quiet man or woman and do in comparison to being on instruct, so turning out to be a witness replace right into a important step forward to turning out to be on instruct and it petrified me! ultimate determination - different than my marriage - that I genuinely have ever made:D

I don't hate you, I've just been told by so many that because I'm not a member of your congregation that I am doomed. That is simply not truth.

Most just don't want to listen. It's sad but we should expect this from the world. :/
