Ok, so children generally don't develop a strong sense of right and wrong until around 6-8 years old. My question is do you think God would allow Satan to decieve little children?

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satin/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about satans role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Churches don't deceive children, that is ridiculous, don't listen to that ignorant person.
God does protect children until they develop a mature sense of right or wrong. A 2 year old knows its wrong to stick his tongue out at his mother but Satan did not deceive him. He is learning right from wrong. I think children are protected from Satan until they are old enough to make a concious, mature decision to follow God or deny Him.

We are born with a sinful nature. We are to be brought up to adulthood by our parents to know right from wrong. Children will do the wrong things until they know better. God was with them in the womb, I know he is with them in their life.
Parents are to pray for their children and ask for a protective covering over them. Don't blame God when the children are deceived. He had nothing to do with it. The children just have to learn.

Oh, no... god is a much more devious and clever clever trickster than that. He doesn't turn Satan loose on children in his normal guise (an evil angel, all red and fiery, with a tail and pointy horns)... that would scare children.
No... he lets him trick children, in his alternate guise of a jolly old elf.

GOD allows what we allow (FREE WILL).Remember we should put on the whole armor of GOD so that we are protected in our daily lives,and also,we must pray for our children and each other .we must remember when JESUS died on the cross ,we became heirs to the throne so in all actuality we have all power and satan does not have power over us we have power over him!

Yes, he does. Go into any kindergarten class room and you will find books that say every thing evolved millions of years ago, but God still loves them, and as they grow he gives them the ability to discern wright from wrong.

All Children at the moment of birth believe that the world revolves around them.

Yes, God allows unfit parrents to influence their kids by beating them, doing drugs around them and sexually abuse them. That sounds like the work of satan to me.

I don't know about God, but his supporters certainly deceive little children. Priests just loooooove to deceive little children.
