i wouldn't say poor taste...but...it is very wierd and disturbing...

No. I don't think that the picture, in and of itself, has any bearing upon etiquette. The question of taste regarding a photo would be determined by the audience. In other words, to whom would you show the photo? If it were taken to school and shown to a kindergarten class, that, I think would be in bad taste. It would also probably get the parents up in arms. However, if the photo were shown to adults at home, in an art gallery or elsewhere, then showing it would be proper. Also, you probably shouldn't show it to your Sunday school class.
The point is, the photo is not intrinsically bad or inappropriate.

No, it is however hilarious! I suppose poor taste would depend on what you're planning to do with the picture.
