I'm a 16 year old male and I weigh about 115 lbs..I'm always hungry and I eat alot, more then most people..should I limit my servings or just eat until i'm full?

Your body is still going through a lot of metabolic and structural changes that could lead to you needing excessive calories.

Unless you're a midget, 115 lbs. sounds normal or even underweight.

Here's how any healthy person of any age can tell if they eat more than what the body needs: When you feel full, you are done eating. If you eat beyond that point it is no longer healthy.

Everyone is different, but if you habitually eat beyond feeling full it is a compulsion and unhealthy. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it.

I would say eat what you would consider a normal serving and if you are still hungry try drinking water. Usually when you are still feeling hungry if you drink an 8oz. glass of water and feel full after wards you could just be dehydrated. If you still feel hungry eat food but make sure you are eating the right food, try eating fruit. The food you may be eating is not giving your body what it is craving, junk food does nothing for you.

The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). If you're 16 then you probably are still going through puberty and a big appetite is a big part of puberty. If you exercise everyday then you can afford to eat alot but eating alot by itself isnt very healthy. It could result in many problems in the years to come. So if you wanna eat alot...eat healthy foods and exercise too.

Eat till your full. It's never good to eat past that point. And do you eat because you're hungry? or because of other stuff..like being bored or having personal problems? you should only eat when you know you really are hungry and it isnt about something else.

Um, you're a 16 year old boy... You should eat until you're full, but it's not quantity as much as quality. Make sure you're eating vegetables, fruits, complex carbohydrates and protein. If you're eating a lot of chips and soda, eventually that will catch up to you and it's not healthy.

Make sure you listen to your stomach and stop eating when you start to feel full. Be sure and chew your food slowly. ; )

Listen to your body. If you are hungry...EAT. You must have a high metabolism and be growing a lot as well, so your body is craving lots of food. Just try to limit the junk... junk foods only in moderation.

Are you underweight? You didn't include your height, so I can't tell you...
If you have recently lost weight, you should see a doctor. There could be a medical reason for your large appetite and weight loss.
Otherwise, you are probably just hungry because you are a growing boy and need the nutrients. I wouldn't comprare myself to other people if I were you. They may need less food to maintain their weight/metabolism.

Teen males tend to eat a lot. If you are active, eat until you are full. If not, that will soon start turning to fat, so cut back a bit and eat healthy.

Eat til your full. Why starve yourself cause you eat a lot.
Haha. I have that same issue. I have a fast metabolism.
You might too.
But if it is ridiculously fast. Go to your doctor. You could have an overactive thyroid.
