Eat more and do strength exercises. If you run or swim or other aerobic stuff you will burn too many calories to gain weight. All you have to do it eat more calories in a day than you can (or do) burn. When I was younger a friend once told me that if I wanted to gain weight, I should try to manage eating an entire loaf of bread in addition to everything I normally eat in a day. This will pack on lots of extra calories. Build your muscles (muscle is heavier than fat). Buy a pull-up bar at a sporting goods place(about $15). Do as many pull-ups as you can at least three times a day. Do the same with pushups. After a few months you will be much stronger and heavier in your upper body. It should only take a maximum of 20 minutes throughout the day to complete these strength exercises.
Imagine yourself going to prison and having to physically defend yourself everyday. Imagine that you were convicted of a crime you didn't commit and had to learn to defend yourself in the general population of prisoners. Or picture yourself in the Ultimate fighting Championship where your own physical strength is the only thing between you and a serious beat down.
Tell yourself that either of these scenarios are likely and you need to build up soon or die.
This will motivate you to exercise.

you dont want to eat unhealthy foods lyk mcdonalds or burger king just to get fat.... eat right ... lyk you can eat white bread, whole milk, rice...ect... lyk instead of getting the diet drinks or milk make sure you get the regular... they also have smothie king... if u have a smoothie king near u , u should try ordering the hulk... the hulk is a healthy smoothie for your body that contains a lot of yeast ..... yeast is good for your body but very fattining...... DO NOT TAKE PILLS..... pills will get you a little fat BUT it leads to CANCER.....pills are very unheathy for you... just make sure u eat right and have about 3 meals and snacks in between

Even though weight gain is your goal, you don't want to be gaining fat and eating junk. Get rid of the chips and candy. No more fast food, nothing fried. Stick to high protein, low (saturated) fat foods like tuna fish (and other seafood), chicken breast, turkey, lean meats, rice, pasta, fruits and vegetables, nuts, flax seed oil, etc.WATER! Drink water!but it's that water that will give you the energy you need to gain that weight! Sleep! YES! Sleep! The easiest, yet most over looked step. Get at least 8 hours of sleep a night. You're gonna need it!

okay in order to gain weight you need to eat a lot of lean proteins like chicken, etc and red meat. Dont eat crap like carls jr. or whatever..second you do have to work out..just do not do a lot of cardio..perhaps about 15 minutes a day on the elliptical machine with arms. Your motivation is up to you...how bad do you want it?

okay, well u need to talk to a nutrionist first, or your doctor. my grandpa is the same. we feed him high fatty foods, but he loses the weight sooo quickly. eat lots of dairy, like ice cream, cheese, eat pizza, pasta, milkshakes, burgers, peanaut butter, but still eat plenty of fruit!!!! just take vitamens, and DONT TAKE THOSE CHEAP LOUSY POWDERS....THEY DONT WORK!!!! well good luck!!! bye!! : )
