Something has happened that has corrupted your installation of Windows. But it appears the hard drive itself is still working, so you may be able to recover anything you have saved on the drive.
Get someone who know something about computers (or professional help) and have them take out our current hard drive and make it a second drive in another computer. They can then copy over any pictures, music, etc.
After that, you will have to reinstall Windows on your hard drive and put all the stuff you copied back.

as your computer starts up, press F2 and that should get you to the command prompt. there should be an option that allows you start up from the last known good status or something like that. if not then start it in safe mode and it should start up then. once started, insert your winXP cd and repair whatever lost files are missing then reboot
