Using science to prove that there is no God is like using apples to prove that there are no oranges. If you really want to prove to me that God isn't real all you have to do is take the test.

That's right - take the test that Jesus gave us in the Bible.
John 7:17- If any man will do His will (meaning God's will) he will know of the doctrine whether it be of God or whether I (Jesus)speak of myself.

Accept the Bible, strive to follow its teachings, strive to live as Jesus outlined in the Bible. Seek His spirit, don't rely solely on the teachings of man or of a religion but strive to find God in your life and then ask Him if He is real.

That's right- just ask Him. You have to take the step of faith by sincerely striving to follow His teachings first, then ask Him if He is real and if He doesn't answer you, then I will question if God is real. I am open minded- maybe my experience was some sort of hallucination or mentally induced anomaly. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Did Jesus Exist? Yes

Was he the son of god? No

Did he walk on water? Maybe, but I'm thinking it was in the middle of January...

God isn't real. Took your test. Passed.

besides the actuality that if I noted Jesus do those miracles with my own eyes, i'd nonetheless be skeptical that some invisible great being author of the completed universe changed into linked to those miracles... Your "A" statement would not equivalent your "B" statement, and therefore your "C" end is a "wager"... In different words... only because "A" some guy done some quite mysterious miracles, does no longer inevitably recommend that it has some thing to do with the author of the universe... it must be some thing, and if it must be some thing, i'd carry out for a extra logical rationalization that still is smart quite. Gods and spirits and ghosts and besides the actuality that do no longer look to exist quite, and those no info that there is a few thing "previous the veil of actuality" as people vaguely imagine in a very undetailed way...

Jesus may of existed but he could of just been a man that was ahead of his time with ideas that others didn't quite understand. But the Bible on the other hand was written by many authors and authors even when writing facts tend to exaggerate and embellish what the see and here. I think religious leaders use this to scare people into doing what they want.

Before Christianity there were hundreds of thousands of people who were positive that Isis and Osiris were real, that Zeus was real, that Vishnu was real. They embraced their religions with all their hearts, minds and souls. These people were/are every bit as positive in their faith as you are in yours. Is that something Christians are capable of understanding, or do they really believe they have exclusivity on the matter of being absolutely sure that their 'God' is the true one? It's universal, it's been this way in all cultures, in all times past. It's called blind faith on the nice side, brainwashing on the realist side.

Many atheists and agnostics are ex Christians.

'God' is not found in any book.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You realise what you just said, don't you? Let me sum it up for you: "I will only accept answers about wether or not Jesus was the son of god from people who whole-heartedly believe that Jesus was the son of god". Stupid. yes, we already know that you ignore anyone who doesn't agree with you. Stop wasting our time now.

I don't have to prove anything to anyone. If you want to waste your time and life following something you will never find, have fun. Me, I will be out enjoying the life that I have now while I am still here. Because I hate to ruin the surprise for you, but when its over, its over.

"Using science to prove that there is no God is like using apples to prove that there are no oranges"

I think it should be - Using the Bible to prove there is a God is like using apples to prove there are oranges.

Science would be the apple peeler... or the worm.

He's Real Clueless would be a better name for you.

A poor use of logic in the instructions of your proposal.

However, as Mark said, been there, done that, it came and passed.

Yes, I drank from the same psychedelic neuro-peptide juice as you. Now I'm older, and realize the drug of belief is sinister way to run one's life. Good luck in your recovery.

Do your homework. Christianity came from Paganism. If Christians did even the tiniest research on thier religon they would know how and why people do not beleive in thier misguided faith.

Take my test. See how ignorant you are:

most atheists dont claim that jesus didnt exist.

it doesnt work, because if you follow his teachings you already believe, or if you dont, you begin to because its human nature. have you ever been around someone so much that you start to act like them? its like that. follow god enough, even if you dont believe, and you will begin to..
