I sometimes get very angry and have very bad thoughts. I had these kind of thoughts and anger when i was a child but it seems to be surpressed when im in a serious relationship. But lately i have been single and i have these old feelings brewing. I know how to control this but it is sometimes scary to me the thoughts i have. Ive shared this with some close friends but i think it just scares them. I dont feel crazy and i function in society fine but its uncomfortable controling it sometimes..

A little reluctant to say this, but most of the thoughts revolve around violence. If you ever talked to anyone i know they would tell you i was the nicest person but on the inside its dark and only a few close friends know the real me. It might sound silly but i think the love that comes out of a relationship is what surpresses those feelings.. just a thought.

Below are five ways to control your anger:

A. Take a deep and continuous breath: Take deep breaths to calm yourself down. Stop thinking about what is making you angry and take a nice deep breath and hold it for a second or two... then breathe out slowly. Do this for 8 to 10 inhalations and exhalations.

B. Do some physical exercises: When you are angry, your body is very tensed and tough. If you stretch your muscles it will relax your body, and release your negative energy. Your brain will get more oxygen and assist you in clearing your thoughts.

C. Be Grateful: Find things to be grateful for. Be grateful that you have woken up today. Thank the Sun for shining, and realize there are people in your life that love you.

D. Meditation: Meditation is easy to learn. About 5 to 7 minutes of practice a day is all you need. You will notice that you get less angry the more you practice meditation.

E. Master Your Thoughts: The bottom line is that you are angry because you cannot CONTROL your THOUGHTS!
