I do prefer to pay, but women work just as much a men do now. What's your take?

sometimes i pay sometimes he pays if we go to dinner he usually does but if i make the plans i pay we went on vacation together to the bahamas and did it dutch i wouldnt ecpect a b/f to pay that

It would be fair to split the cost of a dinner if the woman you are dating has a similar financial status or an equal salary. Personally, I do not believe that women in general earn more than men do. Women may earn more than they used to, but men will always have an advantage over women in a career world. While some women may enjoy being financially independent, most of them will still prefer that men show some consideration of their financial situation.

Lol I don't mind who pays. I personally don't like having everything being paid for me - it makes me feel all weird.. so as long as it's not always me, I don't mind paying once in a while x]
Hey, if a boy can ask a girl out to dinner. Why can't the girl do the same? :P her treat!

It is a real turn on for me when I guy acts like a traditional gentle man. Open the doors, decide where we are going, pays for the meal, gives me his jacket if I am cold, walks on the street side of the sidewalk etc. It makes you feel like a queen. It isn't about the money thing it is more like the man taking charge and treating his date like a precious jewel.

I have a very low-paying job, but I always make a point of paying for myself on dates (and being prepared to pay for him too just in case!). Going Dutch solves a lot of problems....a lot of guys think they "deserve" to get some if they pay for a woman's dinner.

I'm old fashioned, so I think the should man pay. I guess it could be whoever asks the other out on the date though. It just depends on your preference, along as you share the same opinion about ut.

I don't see a problem with a woman paying for dinner. I mean it's nice when a man does pay, but sometimes the roles can be reveresed. Do you as a man get offended when a woman offers?

I still like it when men pay for the bill. I do not mind if it is a new relationship to split it but over all i still like when men pay that bill!

My thing is that I pay for myself until we are serious. If I am your girlfriend then you should pay. This gives you the "power" and not having to feel bad if you dump them after a couple of dates.

I still think the man should pay. Is it fair ? I dont know. Is it fair that still till this day a women is considered a sl*t if she sleeps around ? Life is not fair.
