I agree. Nothing good happens at those giant parties at far away places. Its not safe, I am 21 which is still young, but never found anything good at those kind of parties. Your parents are trying to keep you safe. Its hard to realize because this seems like the party of the year, but how many times have you heard of something bad happening at a teen party? Maybe you haven't, but we all have....the older we get the more the stories add up. Rape, drug over dose, drunk driving, broken bones from jumping off the roof while drunk, experimentation with drugs, sex, strangers. If you were closer to home I would say yes. Because if you are trustworthy and something bad happens you can get home quick. I know some of those things sound fun to you now, but it hurts to think back on the things we should not have done when we were younger so if you can try to listen to your parents, don't lie about the party...ask boyfriend to have a night out together or stay in...whatever happens be safe, be near a phone, don't drink and drive, don't go anywhere alone with anyone you don't know or even a guy you know that has been drinking...I'm not your mom, or any ones mom and I'm already nervous about this ranch party for you and your friends. Be well hun.

Well lets say you lie about the parties locatin, then the party gets busted and you along with it and your parents have to pick you up at the police station. That happens and it will be a long time before you see the outside of your room let alone a party. You didn't say how old you are and that is a big issue. I'd go with having the friend ask if you can go with her but if they say no thats just the way it is and honestly they are doing it because its the best thing for you, whether you like it or not. Kids are kids and parents are parents for a really good reason. Trust me, no one party is the end of the world, however losing the trust of your parents can do some serious harm to your future. What happens then when something comes up and you really NEED them to believe you but they won't because you have proven yourself to be a sneaky little liar? I think that having your parents look at you that way is a lot more painful than missing a party with a bf that will be meaningless in 6 months anyway.

Tell him your parents wont let you go. but ask them first.
chances are, he may on his own decide that he would like to stay with you instead, or at least offer. if he doesnt, then that may tell you something about how he feels about you.

Dont make him stay with you, he could end up bitter about it, and it be a bad time. but dont offer for him to go without you if you dont want him to.

dont sneak out, as suggested above, Its a good way to lose your parents trust, in both you and your bf (no im not a parent)

Hey, DO NOT GO TO THE PARTY.. Respect your parent's wishes.. They might have a reason why they do not want you to go. Just tell your boyfriend that your parents do not want you to go..
If he is any type of a good person, he will not complain or argue with you, nor your parents..
Better yet, have him ask your parents if you can go.

the words ur lookin for are "doubt" and "please"

and bring ur parents with, if the host dont mind, that way u can prove u can handle yourself, unless its supposed to be a "party"

and i know many think nothing happens at parties, but i know more than a dozen people that got hurt, raped, or OD'd, all during parties!
i saw big bad tuff guys look like they were mauled by a pissed sow, after parties (sow's are mother bears)

lol at first glance i thought this was going to be about donuts! sorry if i offend

ok? Why is he nevertheless your boyfriend, once you're diggin on somebody else? it truly is dissrespectful on your bf. perchance you do not care as a lot on your boyfriend in case you've invited yet another dude who you're saying you're 'obsessed on. instead of picking your boyfriend over him. you may wanna imagine issues by potential of somewhat better carefully next time round.

Talk rationally with your parents and then listen. If your boyfriend can't handle that you are respectful to your parents, then he's not good enough for you.

Well first you need to sit down with your parents and let them know how responsible you are, even show them if you have to. then you go ahead and ask them. you let them say yes.let them know how important this is to you i think they will trust you. Good luck
