We British like to be shown courtesy and respect, we don't take kindly to our nationality being spelt with a small letter - it implies an insult.
Yes we are tax dominated in this country but that's because our culture supports people throughout life at every level, people's healthcare is not measured by wealth.
If you don't know what tax is, you must be from another planet!

When you have to work for 5 months in a given year before the money you earn is yours. Then the tax is paid to managers to manage managers to manage managers etc if this is not functional use the tax to employ problem solvers - think tanks who will need managers. Also this tax is used to fund a mighty war machine, that in actuality is a world police directed by the Bush man.

In the civilised world it's a percentage you pay from your income that contributes towards "free" public services e.g. NHS Hospital Care, Public Education (Schools). It is also an extra charge on certain items / products that are considered as a luxury e.g. Petrol, Alcohol, Cigarettes, and this "tax" is paid to the government.

we get taxed on our salary about 25% then we buy our grocerys with added tax about 17.5%vat then we pay to get rid of our rubbish we were taxed for refuge i,e council tax(mine £1200 p/a) so if we all grew our own food and ate it **** in a bucket and live in a tree it could be cheaper but it would also mean no power = no playstation boo hoo were getting robbed

Tax is what the government takes of your wages so you can get things like healthcare, libraries, schools, hospitals etc.

Don't think its funny to pay taxes. in fact the UK is one of the highest tax countries in the world this is to keep GLASS BACK IDLE GOOD FOR NOTHING SCROUNGERS WHO COME TO THIS COUNTRY AND TAKE THE PISS OUT OF THE HARD WORKING PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY. I VOTE STOP ALL IMMIGRATION ?????????????
