sometimes u think ok he looks mad, or totally alien or something so u just close ur eyes or listen to ur discman when u do chat u end up thinking someting different than what u first did

I really dont like to chat with people in those situations. If someone did spark a conversation I wouldnt be rude or anything I would just give short answers and not give any return questions to prolong the conversation.

I don't usually have a choice. Usually people strike up conversations with me. I've heard more life stories on the bus. And I didn't even ask. I must have "talk to me, I want to know it all" tattooed to my forehead. Not that I mind knowing things that most people wouldn't even tell their doctors, but it's just weird. They don't talk to other people like that. Why talk to me like that. Mom says it's because of my cherubic countenance. I tell her that's just a nice way of saying I'm fat. lol.

Lol, as simple as this question may seem, its a very commmendable one. I personally am shy in speaking with people but i think its ok that every once in awhile you make a conversation with someone, Dont make it a habit tho.

If someone starts a conversation, I'm perfectly happy to chat with them. I do not initiate conversations though. Mostly because I'm perfectly happy to be alone with my thoughts, not out of any fear or something.

I never talk with anyone on the train. For some reason, I always have the creepy psychotic homeless people sit down next to me.

It depends what mood I'm in. If I know that I won't be very good company, then I don't bother trying to chat someone up.

I ignore the person, because for all i know, this person could be a creepy predator or criminal. (i'm talking about the city bus...not the school bus)

I always try to talk to them. I don't ride the bus much, but anywhere I go, I try to be cordial with others.
