What's better Color images in a room or B&W

It all depends on what the photos are of.

I have some very sharp B&W photos that portray an intimate feeling and have an overlaying cool/relaxed mood about them. They sit in my office whic is a very new-age look. The desk and all end tables are in onyx and glass while the seats are steel and ivory. So B&W is the only choice (in my mind) of prints to put in it.

My upstairs room in my house is a mesh of prints from sepia (your brown tinted images) to color to b&w to selective coloring. Of course, there is no specific theme of that room, so any type of print will work just fine in it.

The room is what decides what color of prints to have in it. A rustic looking room will work perfectly with sepia and antique style photographs. While a dining room would look great with warm color photographs.

It's best to sit back and look at your bare walls where the images will go and start from there.

It depends on the wall. Some rooms are just b&w, other's have color. It depends on the mood of the room.

Def. black and white. They are just so much more sexy, and beautiful than colour pictures. All my pics on faceparty are in black and white, it just looks so much better.
