A lot of them are so poor and desperate for a better way of life that they are willing to risk everything just to get here and find work. Especially Mexico where you can't even drink the water or grow crops in most regions. What usually happens is the husband/boyfriend will hop the border and seek out work in order to establish a residence and move his family up here in order to provide for them.

Well, I am an Immigrant and there is a rational way to do this, I came to this country legally. However, the main problem is how hard it is to get legal papers. I think that If the US would set up a type of Ellis Island near the border then this situation would be solved. However is all about chep labour and not having to pay benefits therefor illigal work will always find a play in the US.

ah yes a easy way there was no easier way than illegal till it has come back to bite them in the butt . and in the beginning of all this they were spouting its our land ,la raza, just wait till may 1st blah blah blah. so they are getting what they deserve ,most Americans are sick of them at this point . and we would still be having a lot of the same problems. We cant take care of the world. guess they should have been saving all that tax free money .

No, they wouldn't. 60 years ago immigration was limited to 100,000 people every 10 years, for the last 20 years it's been at 1,000,000 every year + family members allowed to apply. That's an additional 1 person for every 260 citizen per year. How can anyone think that we don't allow in enough people when our cities are already overcrowded?

Because they were too dishonest to come any other way! Because they did not want to wait their turn like other people do! Because there is no honor among thieves!
They come to get benefits they're not entitled to! They come to leech off taxpaying citizens!
We can not just let foreigners come over here because they want to! They need to obey the laws, and be a productive member of society, not a bunch of deadbeat criminals!
If you can't come here legally, then don't come at all!

I do not care! They are not owed citizenship! Get that through your thick skulls. If you don't like the laws of this nation, do us a favor and stay out! Just because you don't agree with a certain law does not mean it should be ignored! God the whole pro-illegal argument is just an exercise in stupidity....

They want to do things the easy way. Like all things in life "if its worth having its worth working for".

Yes it is a pain and there ar a lot of hoops to jump through but it has to be done.

I myself would like a lot of money. Does that justify me robbing a bank? No, neither does their desire to be in the U.S. ok their breaking the law by just sneaking in.

We have limits on the immigration of poor people because other people pay to educate and provide services for poor people. While as a society we feel responsible for our own, we don't want to educate those whose country just doesn't want to pay to do it, as Mexico doesn't educate its poor. It isn't just a matter of 'make it easier'. We need limits on immigration to protect our schools and services for our own people. We don't want to pay for as many poor foreigners as want to have us pay for them.

Yes they would! But since you have to meet a laundry list of requirements, its impossible.
