Regardless of your intentions, it's absolutely true that there's no point in asking if you've already decided what the answer is and will consider no others. There's a LOT of that in this section. It's a waste of space, they're not really even questions.

I sorta of agree with Tony. If you're not ever ever ever going to convert, then I pose the question to you:
How is understand Christianity going to help you?
What are you trying to understand?
How can this understanding help to strengthen your muslim faith?
I can totally see listening to views on christianity even though you didn't ask so that way your ears/eyes are open and aware, but why ask questions for a better "understanding and acceptance" when your faith dictates that you debunk the answers? I think that if you're truly trying to understand other faith, then you'll accept whatever answer you get and move on with what you have to do. I personally don't ask religious questions of other faiths to get a deeper thought about my belief. I always ask questions to know where other people are so that I can study topis and discover better/more effective ways to convert people to christianity. By the way....if you're ever so interested in understanding christians that you'd be open to study from the teachings and perspective Jesus Christ...let me know! The first lesson will be on your subject of interest...the trinity.
f you truly want to abide by/stand for the principals of your faith, you must first be honest with yourself.

I really do hope you're trying to understand it. It really isn't very difficult if you can stop trying to define the Trinity as "1+1+1=3". Let me try to explain it in a different way...if you are a father, and a son, and you work as a teacher...then you are a father, AND a son, AND a teacher. You're still one person. If this still doesn't make sense to you, then you're still thinking like a Gnostic. They taught Mohammad everything he "knew" about Jesus, AND they believed God can be understood through knowledge. Remember that Adam and Eve were said to have been expelled from Paradise because they "ate from the tree of KNOWLEDGE". Even your Holy Book says 'God is unknowable', 'God does as God wills' and 'God is capable of anything'. Gnostics try to define God from a "logical" 3 dimensional temporal human perspective, but as we both know, God is NOT bound by the laws of physics OR our logical deductions. There is no science in religion. It is ALL subjective.
Peace

Hello, I am a Christian, please take time to read, thankyou
here I will try to explain the Trinity..
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
God (not Allah, remember Allah is not a father) can be a Father a son and a presense at the same time.
you say" What!?"
Can you not be a father and a son and be present in the room at the same time?
Of course you can.
God the Father is a part of God that is the Father of all those that he adopts, His children that accept Him via accepting Jesus
God the Son is Jesus- fully God and fully man, came to earth to provide the only Way to God the Father. Sinless He bore all of mans sins and paid the punishment for mens sins, so that they may accept His gift and find be saved
God the Holy Spirit is His presense, as of now He is located on earth while God and Jesus are in Heaven. Jesus sent Him to His followers, that the Holy Spirit may help and guide and convict them of sins and help them to be rightious.
The Holy Spirit lives in Christians, many feel Him when they worship God, not to be confused with emotion. Because we as believers can recognize God's presense. His love can be overwhelming at times.
It is all part of God's grace and love, that is why He gives us His Spirit, it is like identfication marking us as His children.
"God loved the world so mucn that He gave His only begotton Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."- John 3:16, the Bible
Unfortunatly good works alone cannot erase our sins, and make us good enough for God, only Jesus can.
these terms are hard for Muslims to understand, because the Allah of the Quran...
is not a Father...
is not love...
is unknowable...
doesnot promise salvation...
doesnot consider you to be his child, but his servant
hates murderers and will not show them any mercy.
cannot garuntee the most faithful Muslim salvation
is not in heaven even if you get there
is unpersonal
only shows mercy out of patience, not love.
I wonder why you follow Islam, in knowing this...
many passeges in the Quran are violent, read the book of Surah...
I respect you, I do not hate you or consider you to be a terrorist. But the peaceful Muslims tend to ignore all of the violent and aggressive verses in the Quran.
I only want you to come to the knowledge of the Truth.
If God judged you by Moses' 10 commandments where would you be?
Surly we all have broken most of the commanments many times...
God knew that none could make it to heaven, that is why He sent His son to pay the punishment for our sins, that If we accept Him we may be saved, and then be taught in rightiousness.
you see Salvation is not a lisense to sin, if someone is sinning and just say I've got a ticket to heaven I don't have to worry, then he is abbbusing God's mercy and that means he possibly is not saved because he didn't truly accept Jesus.
But when they sin, they can ask forgiveness, not that they may continue to sin, but that they may repent and turn from it. God is faithfull, He will not forsake us.
"He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."- Proverbs 28:13, the Bible
We as Christians do good works not in order to be saved, but because we are saved.
we don't have a religion, but a relationship with God, through His Son Jesus.
I love God, but I commonly call Him Father, and I know His love in return, I cannot earn it, it is a gift.
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."- Romans 10:9, the Bible
May God show you the Truth and may He bless you and your family.
I am prayng for you.

Im a Christian and to me there is no trinity. There is still only one God. God is the ultimate, our means of existance. Christ is 100% GOD in flesh and the holy spirit is like a life force that flows in us if we want, but they are all part of one.

Different people read text in different ways. Without hearing you or seeing you it is hard for someone to understand your intentions, mood, attitude when you asked the question. I've not read your questions which you refer to, but maybe the use of emoticons :-) might help, along with careful unambiguous phrasing of your questions.

Why would somebody who presumably went to a school replace the word "why" with the letter "Y"? You see, so many questions, not enough answers...
