Let's pray for GOD to be allowed BACK into the CLASSROOM!

NO! I'm a Christian and I say this.
Should we put morality back in the classroom, teach kids not to steal, or lie, and teach them to respect each other? Of course! Should we teach them to study religion, and to find out everything they can about it? Of course!
Should we shove it down their throats, despite parental objections? NEVER.

As a teacher AND a Christian, your assumption that God is not in the classroom already is insulting. Just because we're not allowed a specific time to pray in school doesn't mean people aren't praying. A law keeping church and state separate doesn't prohibit Christians from praying, regardless of where they are.

No. If you want God to be in the classroom, send your kids to Catholic school (or whatever religion you are). The U.S. is comprised of many different ethnicities, cultures, and religions. Assuming you are speaking of the Christian God, you would also have to include everyone else's beliefs as well as address those who do not believe. That is why the Constitution separates Church and State. We have the freedom of religion and we should respect those who believe in something other than your God or religion.

Please know, that my answer is not in hate, but to bring awareness to what other people believe, which may or may not include your idea of GOD.

Yes, I do!.....If you notice, when they took prayer out of school, many, many evil things started happening!...when I was in school in the seventys, we had prayer in school everyday and the crime rate was very very low!, Now, the crime rate is very very high because of the lack of prayer in the classrooms!.....myself as well as other prayer warriors will be praying for prayer to be back in the classrooms!......PS. Notice That This Nation Was Built On Believing That GOD EXISTS Compare To A Hand Full Of Atheistes That Don't!.......I Know That Satan Is Not Liking this! Hee Hee Hee!

Not only into the class room but every area of life. First let God enter individual lives and then only other things can happen.

Is there no school that can boldly teach the Bible in their class rooms? Can't they make it open at the time of admission and make an agreement with the students and their parents regarding this. Then, admit only those who agree to this condition. When there is any query or complaint the parents and children should stand with the school and say that they want Bible to be taught in their school.

I think it's time for God to be brought back into:

- The Classroom!
- The Government.
- The Family home.
- Church! (yes..."Church!" Enough playing religion - or going through the motions...It's time to allow him to have control.)

I think it's about time we stop compromising God's principles, and start practicing them despite the number of Atheists, Agnostics, Pagans and other NON-BELIEVERS we might offend.

And prayer is a wonderful place to start.

God Bless.

I think if god comes into the classroom, so should Buddha and Allah and the Sun God and Zeus and every other religion. Why not expand every child's horizon and let them decide which, if any, religion they will follow, and also allow them access to scientific opinions on life. Think of how well rounded and insightful our future generations could be if we just exposed them to everything life has to offer.

Gods have no place in any classroom. God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind, provided that any search was made at all instead of swallowing the pile of delusional bilge that was spoon fed to you as a child

This may sound funny coming from me but I think in this nation with freedom of religion being a corner stone of the Republic, that matters of faith and morality should be taught at home/private school. By parents or teachers of like mind. I live in Utah an area filled with religious people that I feel are in deep error. Rather to have these strage teaching thrown at my children, I would rather have the children taught by the state and have them stick to math, reading, composition, and natural science. I even think science should be left to what is proven fact and not get into theories that are held by the religion of atheism.

If you want to indoctrinate children do not expect schools to do it for you. If you insist in dictating Christianity in schools share the time equally with the other religions such as Islam.

You dare not! The other religions are all far more tolerant of other peoples ideas. Islam on the face of it is a pretty strict one with sharia law being somewhat extreme but I would rather have that than born again Christian dictatorship in schools.

Schools and politics should be religion free zones.

The only reason Christians want religion in schools is to indoctrinate. If it is not in schools they have to pay to indoctrinate kids and then it is only the ones parents bring.

Christians are allowed freedom to believe and worship what they want, why oh why, can't they give the same freedoms to people who do not believe the same as they do!

Our country is becoming way too diverse. It is just not fair anymore to have only one god in our schools. We must either abandon the idea of god in the classroom or include everyone's gods in the classroom.
