The question originated with someone else, but has been one of my favorites, causing a healthy spiritual self-examination.

It can only be understood when we understand that Jesus Christ died in order to exchange His life for ours, that we are no longer our own, but purchased and redeemed through His blood.

Yes, My life is centered solely around providing a better life for others to the point that I do not concern my self with my needs but await God's provision which always happens.

example: I have $10 and have not yet eaten today you ask for money to buy food. I will give you the $10 I have knowing God will feed me. Sometimes it is through an invitation to dinner or a last minute odd job or found treasure. The Elijah raven thing has not yet happened but if that is how God chooses to provide for me I will be grateful.

Probably not right now. But in the future, when the earth is made into a beautiful paradise. When life is once again worth living and all people will be at peace with each other. All nations, races and people.

I am trying. We are ALL trying. I would gladly die for Christ but I think sometimes it is even harder to live for Christ.
