It really bothers me that born again believers can't stand up for what is right. Gay issues, abortion, pre marital sex and the list goes on. If you believe that the Bible is God's word, and God's word says something different from your personal feeling, don't you think you should adjust your personal stance? I'm not talking about putting people in their place or judging them. That's wrong-but I believe you can love a person without condoning sin. Tell me if you agree.

YOu can disagree with people and love them. You can stand against things without personalizing them. You can lead a life of example. YOU can define God in your way with the knowledge you have. YOU cant define God for others.

Good Luck and God Bless!!

The reason is that there is a lot of "new age" Christianity going around and new believers are getting ideas about being a true Christian or believing in God mixed up.
It is easier to follow God or to get in on new age Christianity if you don't have to be held accountable for the things that our society today more and more find justifiable. Do you know what I mean?
Anotherwards....there are many churches and organizations trying to attract people by saying and acting like we except you as you are, come be apart and do whatever you want, it's all good.Once attracting those people I think they neglect to follow up with getting the message out there that you don't have to be a legalistic Christian but that doesn't give you the right to stray from God's word and justify it because mainstream society is.
There is a fine line. And it is actually very hard to find for many of us who don't fit into a conventional church, who honestly don't believe that you should be judged for every little damn thing.
But yet stay within biblical terms.

You can absolutely love someone without condoning sin.
First of all you don't take what they are doing personally, because it's not our right. You can even tell them hey I totally disagree and this is why....as long as in return you do respect them and what they say and believe regardless of how different it is.
I actually have many friends who are gay, etc.
When opportunities have arose about the subject I have absolutely voiced what I believe and made sure I did it in a loving way that wasn't directing personally at them. It is MY belief. And that there was nothing that they or anyone else could do or be that could change my unconditional love for them.
And I have kept many valuable friendships and gained the respect of many while still standing very strong for my personal beliefs and convictions.

I believe in these things too but I can not tell another how to believe. Most of these people know what they are doing is in the Bible as against God. They have decided to ignore this. I can not judge them I leave that to God.

Peace Be With You,

i think that for the reason that we were married in a church, God changed into modern there and Blessed our marriage then. he's continuously in my heart and soul besides the actuality that i'm doing, good or undesirable. that is my believe in Him that keeps me getting in the direction of further good activities. And the older I develop into, the further in-track i think I develop into with God...and the further I study from others and God, the further I understand God and my sexual responsibilities and needs with my better half and the way it is all linked. Which comes finished circle proving to me that God is carefully on acceptable of problems with my existence bodily, emotionally, and spiritually. God has performed a significant section in my lovemaking/sexual existence and that i call it devine intervention.....as I surely have helped individuals with complications they have, they have helped me with complications i changed into having, no longer bodily yet emotionally and spiritually, deep interior that i did not comprehend a thanks to fix.

I agree. It makes me sick when the church is so divided on things which are really BLACK/WHITE.

I think the church is 'at times' trying too hard to conform to ppl of this world --- so much in fact, that they're compromising God's teachings...

Galatians 1:10 comes strongly to mind right now:

"Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ."
