Rule no. 1 - you can let her start eating healthy. no. 2 - keep her hair moisturised (make sure her hair products do not contain petroleum or mineral oil), a good choice is Wild Growth Hair Oil. no. 3 - wrap her hair in a silk or satin cloth at night. no. 4 - keep her hair braided as much as possible; not too heavy since I assume she is still a child or you can braid her natural hair. no 5. wash her hair every two weeks, and use a detangler to avoid excessive shedding along with a wide tooth comb. no. 6. since she's a child give her a multivitamin daily.

Just wait. Some people's hair takes a while to grow, other people's hair grows quickly. I'm guessing hers takes a while. Don't trim it, cutting it WON'T make it grow faster, no matter what anyone says. Hair is dead outside of the scalp, so how does the hair know you just trimmed it and it should grow faster? You just have to wait, but don't worry, it will grow!

lots of indian women use cocnut oil. it isnt a miracle worker but it somewhat does help. also her hair will be healthy looking. massage it into her scalp..preferably when its wet....like after a shower. apply a hot wet towel to the hair for 4-5 minutes or so and repeat this as often as u like. she can leave it in while sleeping and wash it out in the morning. you cant just put cocnut oil and go out because it makes the hair look really greasy. wash it out with just water or a little conditioner and her hair will be soft and coconut will help her grow her hair.

There are hair vitamins formualated specially for hair growth. Also, this may sound like an "old wives tale," but it works: Brush hair 100 strokes every night. It really doesn't take that long, and it stimulates hair growth from the root.

Let a professional treat it. Men seems to do womens hair the best so find u a good man hairdresser and let her visit him like every 2 weeks. Keeping the ends trimmed on black or ethnic hair usually helps also.
