It depends on your boyfriend. If he's successful, clean and well behaved in the past and the present than yes, you should. But he shouldn't speak unless the judge asks him to and he should just be there as a support for you unless the judge brings him into it. If he's not any of the things listed above, leave him at home. You don't want anything to reflect upon you poorly.

In my own opinion I don't think it would be a very good idea. That could possibly cause even more problems for you and your ex. It is nobody Else's business that you have a new boyfriend, and I would kept it quiet for awhile at least until your custody case is over. If you still are not for sure about bringing your boyfriend, talk to your lawyer and see what he/she might suggest. Your lawyer is probably going to tell you it is not a good idea.

No! I think it is a bad idea. This is for YOU to do and you alone. This is something outside of your relationship with him and should be treated as such. His involvement could make for a rough situation and for the court to look badly at you. Been through it and this is advice I got from my lawyer. Never include anyone outside the immediate situation. Even if they are just there to sit in the croud and watch. Do this without him. He may feel excluded from part of your life but the alternative could hav a much worse impact on the situation!

No it shows gross immaturity and lack of judgement to bring a new boyfriend around your child. Your child will form emotional bonds with this man and then when you guys have a fight or something he will be traumatized and then you will bring the next new boyfriend around the kid. The judge will notice this and will not rule favorably against you if he thinks you will start this pattern of behavior which is bad for the child.
