Unfortunately, it probably depends a LOT on the age of the guy. For those that ever DO 'grow up' it usually isn't until we're older ( mid/late 30's) Speaking as a guy that HAS grown up, I want:
- someone that is totally loyal/faithful and committed.
- someone that I WANT to be with (smart- so you always have something to talk about / funny- so you can alway share a laugh)
- looks aren't as important as how much they 'try' ( doesn't have to be drop-dead goregeous as long as they do their best to look good)
- same w/body- it's just a fact that we put on weight as we get older, it's unrealistic to expect a perfect body...BUT learn to use/enjoy what you DO have....!!!!
- as for a profession, as long as she is happy in what she does and it good at it, that's all that REALLY matters. ( nothing sucks like having a 'great' job that you HATE!)

A 'good' guy will see/appreciate you for who/what you are, NOT what you do or look like.

We want much the same thing a woman wants... just a few gender based differences.

Honesty, faithfulness, good listener, likes to cuddle, not afraid to be themselves, no BS, no baggage, likes some "male" things so we can do things together, a healthy liking for sex and intimacy (don't confuse this with bad morals), knows when to be quiet and lets us be "us", not afraid to be a woman and act like one.

Other than that, we want reasonable intelligence, good self confidence and a good self image. Profession really doesn't matter much. It's the person. I've dated attorneys, CPA's, secretaries, clerks, teachers, etc. and learned not to put much emphasis on jobs or professions.

The best answer is that she loves him as much as he loves her and is will to stand up to the comitment she made wearing that $2000 white dress on stage.
