I am an MD. I think the biggest problems with this disorder is the inability to admit when you are wrong. I have a friend who is narcissistic and she will tell you that she is wrong plenty of times but when asked for a specific instance of something she was wrong about, she can never give even the smallest example. Furthermore she always blames all of her troubles on others. One time I remember when she ran a stop sign and then tried to say that it was the department of motor vehicle's fault for making the sign so hard to see. So when you are wrong, admit it! Is that so painful?
