Dogs tilt their heads for very practical reasons as well. Tilting the head to the side puts one of the ears up and forward. By turning an ear in the direction of fuzzy or inaudible sounds, dogs are able to hear a little more clearly. We often forget how confusing human speech is for dogs. Even though dogs understand some of what we're saying, most of our conversation is just a blur of sound to them. Usually, they just ignore it. They can tell from our body language and eye movements when we're saying things that concern them. Once something attracts their interest, they'll often perk up their ears and tilt their heads slightly in order to figure out what's going on

They do it when they are concentrating on a sound. In the wild, they would need to know where a sound came from. The way they (and we) do this, is our brains calculate the slight time lag in the sound reaching one ear and then the other. If the sound comes from immediately behind or in front it reaches both ears simultaneously and we can't tell if it's in front or behind. So we tilt or swivel our heads, to make the sound uneven.
Dogs don't need to do this when we're talking to them (if they're watching us) but they just do it naturally when they're concentrating.
Or maybe they just know how cute it looks.........my puppy tips her head one way and then the other at the speakers from the hifi - very funny.

Carnivores are no longer top understood. Very very few carnivores in straightforward terms consume meat. Carnivores consume ANIMALS. between the 1st factor a carnivore eats is the organs alongside with the tummy which includes various partly broken down flowers. They income from that. and many what they consume includes fur/feathers/scales etc. This acts like fiber in our diets (which we get from end result and vegetables) assisting to bathe their gadget from the undesirable area-outcomes of eating meat. you does not be doing a canine a choose via in straightforward terms feeding it meat. you will possibly capture up with in case you have been prepared to feed your canine animals (all the animal) yet maximum folk wont try this. commercial puppy ingredients must be made plenty greater low priced in the event that they used an entire animal. they'd even capture mice and grind them up. it could be very much less costly. even nonetheless it wouldnt sell. human beings choose their puppy nutrition be human high quality or a minimum of sound like it. So it makes use of animals WE evaluate as nutrition (beef, beef, poultry) and it includes vegetables inclusive of carrots and peas. that's stupid to apply such extreme high quality plant life, even nonetheless it is not stupid to incorporate any in any respect.

I suspect they are trying to hear you better... by slightly tilting their head it may make it clearer to hear sounds in one or both of the ears..other causes could be inflammation in the nervous system or perhaps an imbalance in their inner ear

Because they know it is kick *** cute?
My Pug does it, and it makes me laugh every time.
Seriously though, I think they do it because that is there way of showing interest, or possibly confusion.
