I thought anything/everything go's in todays young world. since when is an icebreaker needed. Word is that young people are like Cavemen - they just "club" their choice of mates and (it's) on.!!

A simple hello, with a question pertaining to the environment your in, or asking a question. Once you say hi, and ask the question, and she answers it, tell her where you have seen her, and ask her if she would like to have a soda, coffee, whatever, at the nearby restaurant. Your buying of course.

Just talk to her. Ask her how she is doing. If you know what she enjoys doing, talk about that. And look her in the eyes. As a girl, I hate it when guys try to have a conversation with you and don't bother to look at you.

Well when she is about to speak to you make sure you listen. Try talking to her about something she is doing or eating/drinking and go from there if you get positive encouragement.

i have always found when i guy does something stupid in front of me, IE steps on my foot (not hard enough to break it or anything) or spills a drink on me (clear one if possible) etc, then flashes a really embarrassed smile and apologizes profusely to be the best ice breaker of all time...
