If possible, please provide details such as: out of four gf/bf, or someone that you like, 1 made you feel the connection, or you like each other. And if it's okay, please state how many years you have been dating with people and your age.

If this is too personal, don't answer it. I just want to know.

its not hard to find someone who you like and likes you back. The hard part is to get the relationship started and to keep it going. I have been with my current b/f for close to 5 years and really i wasn't looking long at all when i met him. Theres always options and honestly sometimes you don't see them, but they come back to bite you in the bum later. Like when i was single before i met my current bf, i never knew that there was four other guys that like me, and i like them just never had a chance to explore the possibilities because a. i didn't know they had a thing for me until a couple years down the road, and b. I was/ still am head over heels for this guy that im with now.

As for feeling the connection theres so many different possibilities on what that connection stands for, it could be emotional, sexual, or sometimes just mistaken friendship for something more then it really is. Lucky for me the guy im with now i feel all the above connections.

Keep searching and you will find someone.

Well, yes it's hard for someone to feel just as passionate as I do for them, because they haven't felt the *connection. Plus, I'm in love with someone, who (very very complicated) doesn't know and I'm too shy to tell him and I don't see him very much, but he's reserved as well, when it comes to relationships, so only time will tell. We've made eye contact, 6 months ago, sporadically, and I hope that somehow and through destiny, although he looked and didn't say anything-his heart did. I have such apathy for guys, so it's hard to feel the *spark for anyone else but him, but it's because I'm in love. So, for now hell yeah, the love connection is hard, obviously because we're so far apart, yet so close and the intimidation of looking at him in the eye and telling him how I feel or finding out he's feelings towards me,could hurt. Like I said, only time will tell (at least for me). Love is definitely a beautiful thing. Good luck.

Hi,

Let me thank you first for sharing your advise against my question. I would like to share my view against your query, and it's very true atleast on my part on the basis of what I have experienced, yes its hard to find a person to love you back and no matter how much I showed her my caring for her I cried and wept for her so that she may not leave me but nothing could melt her, I cried day and night and prayed god but there was no mercy shown, even she acknowledged the fact that I can love her and in no manner any one would do so more than me, but still she left me crying, it's hard and sometimes you just don't get it, her last words for me were you can't get everything you want, my last words to her were yes I can't just get everything but anything I want, I promised then on henceforth I will deny everything that would possibly come my way in the form of love, or anything on the basis of which relationships are born, but I promised to myself at the same that till the time I have to live I will worship her, though she may not realize it ever forever, you know the id I am using stands for certified idiot and that's the nickname she gave it to me, It's the biggest gift I ever got in my life I think, yes if you truly love then it should be undying and it should last forever atleast untill you die, I don't know what happens afterwards, but when you look back for those many years how you preserved it in your heart you will get the biggest satisfaction of your life. She was my first and last, and one forever.

If it were not hard to find someone who likes you back, then i would be able to answer your question about how many years i've been dating with people my age, but i can't so that means...YES, it is extremely hard to find people who like you in return. you spend all of your time liking others and givin so much of yourself only to not have it reciprocated...that is how it almost always ends up. it is never easy to find that "one" but if you ever do find them depends on how much time you are willing to wait.

Age: Twenty-Something
Dating: Nine- Something
Married to: The Twenty-Something -Nine year-Something Man

B/F was the first person I met after dating at least 15 guys mostly non-sexual relationships that I liked him, and he liked me. It felt like love and first sight for both of us. We met in a bar and I didn't want to leave him. I stalked the guy. I knew he was going to be my husband.

I believe that if you like yourself, others can sense that and like you too. It seems weird, and I am not talking in a stuck up sense, it just has to do with being confident in yourself and that draws people to you.
