ive herd that when you get the hiccups that means you are growing. is that true?

Um... no, I think it either means you have too much or not enough oxygen in your lungs. One or the other, guess I should have listened better in anatomy and physiology!

No. Hiccups only mean that you have an air bubble in your stomach, which is trapped and is trying to escape. Try drinking water at that time, it will get rid of the hiccup.

No. Hiccups are actually a flap (the epiglotis) over your windpipe (trachea) spasming. This can be caused by all kinds of things.
Not related to growing.

not true at all. Hiccups are a form of indigestion, and for the person who said that hiccups are from not enough oxygen in your body actually it is yawning that results from not having enough oxygen in your body.

I've been told that when you eat too fast you hic-up and it air in you're stomach when the food is digesting. But I have noticed that I hic-up when I'm nervous and tired. I would ask your doctor the next time you go to see him/her.

no. its bc the flap the covers ur lungs opening in the esophagus is not closin and openin in synch with your breathin.
