my best friend and i like the same guy (he is our friend) and im pretty sure he likes her back?

i am pretty cute and guys tend to think so (just to give background, not to sound conceited). my guy friend was acting like he liked me when we were in a group of friends (always tackling me, cluddling with me for no reason) and i like him. then my best friend told me that she talked to him and he said he liked her (i already knew she liked him), but their summer schedules were confusing and they would not get to see each other at all. i am not sure if he likes me, but i really like him. and if he does like me, i am afraid that it is not fair to her for me to go out with him; after all, she is one of best friends in the whole world and i don't want to hurt her.

so if he is a friend just go up to him and ask him if he likes your friend more than just a friend or perhaps hes just acting like a guy friend to the both of u ... my guy friends do it to me all the time. and i have a bf i told him he knows my boy friends and he knows that nothing will ever come between us. but ne way... of subject... sorry if u dont get the gull to ask him perhaps he'll choose one of u. consult ur feelings to the both of them and see how it goes then make a decision

this is indeed an uncomfortable situation, one of which I have experienced as well.

However, it sounds like your friendship is very important and valuable. I would say step back and see if something happens between your best friend and the guy.

I know this isn't a very nice thing to do but you got to convince him that your better, don't only talk about yourself but try and spend more and more time with him, he will slowly like you more than her. don't tell your best friend about it though just go with your own flow.

Then don't. You don't HAVE to have him. There are plenty of other guys that will go for you. Just stay friends with your guy friend.
