guys? would this turn you off from a girl?

if the girl is your gf... but sometimes she gets sad and doesnt want to speak to you at all... or can you tell me some of the sort things that would turn off from a girl?

Well if she was sad and didn't want to speak to me, I would try to comfort her. And do whatever I could to make her feel better. If this was a pattern, after a while I would get frustrated and forget the whole thing

Let me guess, she's a Tori Amos fan, has intimacy issues and probably issues with her father, right? I've dated that girl and others like her, and yes it does turn guys off.

Guys don't typically like girls with 'issues,' and it reads as if this chick does indeed have a few. But take heart, because distance is not the worst thing that a woman can do. So, she doesn't want to speak to him, he can always spend that time hanging with the guys.

It's the clingy, needy constantly in your face girls that really drive men nuts. Nothing is worse than a needy, clingy girl.

The real issue here is the reasons why she's sad at
times.

I would talk to her in the hopes that she would share
why it is that she's upset and ignoring me. And if she
wouldn't talk to me directly, I would ask her to speak
to her best friend about the issue or maybe a relative
that she trusts or a doctor.

Possible depression and or unexplained mood swings
aren't a problem. It's an condition that can be treated
and cured.

if i had a gf that got sad and sometimes didn't want to speak to me i would honestly say to go get bent ...seriously that's a moronic way to handle a relationship.... the main thing it tells me is that Ur not ready to be with someone...because Ur wanting that someone only on Ur terms and only when u need that person that is a very unhealthy way to be toward someone Ur supposed to care about...

Yes it is a turn off if a gf gets into a mood and doesn't want to talk. The worst part is that when I would leave her alone, because she doesn't want to talk to me, then she would get mad because I left. Either way, you lose. Either way, it's a turn off. Good luck

Communication is so very very important. If you both don't know how each other feel, one or both of you feel ignored, therefore unwanted... this hurts ver badly doesn't it?
The silent treatment doesn't help, but I'm just talking about my experiences, and watching other couples. When something is bugging me I tell my gf about it right away or when I think she is ready for it. That's why we've been together for 6 great years.

Hi Gigi,

Most (not all) guys want to fix things. If you are depressed, they want you to feel better. Then, there's a lot of guys that don't know much about girls and think that they did something wrong. Are you mad at them? Do you want to break up with them? Are you seeing somebody else, that makes you happy? It gets some guys pretty paranoid.

I guess as long as, when you do finally talk, that you are pretty open and honest with them, and that you tell them what you feel.
