I would rather walk over and check out all the toilets on both floors of the building I work with until I find a toilet that doesn't have any occupied adjacent cubicles.
It's quite uncomfortable to hear strange noises coming from the cubicle beside me.
I never use the urinal (john) either, and always flush both before AND after I do my business.
My question is: Who else does this? What do you think of it?

I totally get where you are coming from. The bathroom is suppose to be private and personal. I wish every bathroom had its own private room even if it shared the sink space. All it would take is to extend the walls between each toilet and the door. Is privacy really too much to ask.

When its time to go, its time to go. I'm sure if you really had to do it you'd do it in the middle of times square during rush hour. The thing is you probably want some "alone" time in there or you are just one strange bird.
Actually, your feelings are normal, it is strange feeling doing business in a public place.

I can relieve myself whoever else is around and whatever noise is there. I like it better when I'm alone though. Maybe an evolutionary remnant from people being taken out while pooping.

Honest answer, when I urinate it's ok for other women to be around. But I can't have a bm or chang my tampoon when others around. I don't know what it is.
