We are getting married at the beginning of March which, unfortunately, is hard to predict weather-wise. We are timid about going anywhere North because it's likely it will still be cold. We are on a strict budget (would like to spend under $1000) so we will probably need to drive to wherever we go. Any ideas of places within reasonable driving distance to Cincy that would be romantic enough for a honeymoon?

I'm from the Cincy area.
How far you wanting to go?
Any place south would be good. Myrtle Beach? That's 8-9 hours from Cincy. How about TN. Gatlinburg is great, but awful touristy, too. You can make that in about 4 hrs. It only takes about 6 to the TN/GA border.
There are other places down there that you could enjoy. I'm not familiar with places west of TN like Miss or LA or Missouri .

Well it depends on where you two have always wanted to go and check on packages for two that will include airfare, rental, hotel, and food. They have some to Florida for two that is cheaper than $1000 or maybe Hawaii. You might just check into a cruise also. They have some good packages that go to Puerto Vallarta or the Carribean. You can always find good packages on the net. Good luck and Congratulations to the both of you.

unfortunately most places in the lower 48 are gonna be cooler. if you don't mind driving...go to GA or FL or one of the southern states....they won't be very warm...but they should be in the 60's by then...and definetely better than snowy temps. my dad worked during the winter in GA and we live in central ohio. we compared weather temps all the time while he was gone.

How about Atlanta? It's less than an 8 hour drive and it's supposed to be fun, should be warmer than Ohio.
