why do women say they want a good man but they wont accept a good one when he shows himself?

Because women don't define good in the same way that good guys define themselves. Most good guys think they are sweet, nice, caring, compassionate, always there for them, etc. Women call that being a pushover and a *****. Women want someone who has a spine. Something severely lacking in most of the "good" guys I have known.

FEAR! Women always say they want a good man but most of us, myself included have passed up many opportunities to be w/ a GOOD MAN. Why ---because, well it could be a dozen reasons, fear is one, not feeling worthy, afraid to be vunerable, etc...
