My daughter just finished potty training her 2 year old son. She really had trouble with it - until she discovered those new training pants that become COLD when he'd pee his pants.

Within as week - he wa 100% potty trained! Give them a try.

We just trained our 2-yr/old son. We used baby Bjorn potty. At first, it is important to put her on the potty so she gets used to it. The best time is when she first wakes up in the morning and right after her nap during the day. It's most likely that she will go at these times. You can read a book or role play with a toy to entertain her. Also, do not keep her on the potty for longer than 5-10 min at a time. Of course, praise if she goes. The second step is to take off the diaper for the day. She will have accidents at first but that's OK. Summer is an easy time to change her quickly. You can just rinse wet panties with water and dry them in the sun. Always have a couple sets of change clothes when you go for a walk. I also realized that it was just as much of a training for us to regularly ask our son whether he needs to go and be ready to help. The third step is to take the diaper off at night, which I did after I noticed that he normally wakes up dry. We just have to remember putting him on the potty first thing in the morning after he wakes up. Never blame the child for accidents. You should be very patient and just explain that she should use the potty and that way she will be dry.

The best thing to be is consistent. Once you start training stay with it.Let her know what you are doing. Take her to the potty several times a day. Go to the store and let her pick out some cute panties. My daughter loved Dora so we went with those. I told her she could wear her big girl pants when she went on the potty. She caught on very quickly. Also never make the mistake of pull-ups. They are just a great way for diaper companies to get your money!!! Best of luck to you.

You have to get her ready for it. For now just start talking about it while you're changing her diaper. Say things to her like "Are you going to use the potty like a big girl soon?" and just start talking about it and getting her used to the idea. Then when you feel she's ready take her to the store and let her pick out her own big girl panties and rewards so she will be excited about it. Use lots of encouragement as well. Good luck!

Take her to the bathroom with you everytime you go.

Buy one of those little kiddie potties and sit her down on it when you think it's her time.

When you kid can go a night without peeing/pooing, they are ready for potty training.

if its hot, let her go with out pants or a daiper. if she pees or poops, get angry and tell her in a stern voice that when it comes to tell you. after a couple of accidents she will understand. that was how my babe sis was trained.
GOOD LUCK!!! :)
