Have you ever eaten jesus? He said you had to to. In John 6: Jesus said that people must eat his flesh and drink his blood. He was not speaking in metaphors because to metaphorically eat and drink someone in aramaic means to persecute someone (he who persecutes me will live?) In John 6: 60 people cannot deal with it so much that they leave him. If JESUS didn't actually mean "EAT ME" WOuld he have let them leave? And then even given his apostles the chance to leave?
I HAVE EATEN JESUS BODY BLOOD SOUL AND DIVINITY AND IT IS AWESOME!

Some of you are so silly. JESUS SAID EAT ME! SO I DO HOW DOES THAT GET ME TO HELL? DO SOME RESEARCH AND OPEN YOUR MIND AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND MAYBE THE SPIRIT WILL BLESS YOUR POOR SOULS WITH truth!

I eat the flesh of Jesus and drink His blood everytime we have Communion. That's the last supper to you, for I'm sure such a shallow mind will never be able to comprehend this.

You blaspheme the Holy Spirit by making fun of the most sacred of the sacraments to Christians. Repent!

thats is an prejudice comment but you have a point
but what i think your asking is do ppl take eat and drink of his body which in the bible it says take eat for this is my body which means like if your in church on communian sunday they give you a cracker there are lines and holes on your cracker the lines mean the blook he shed when they whipped him with a horse whip and the holes means the piericing that he had when he was put on the cross.... the grape juice they give you means the blood he shed for all of his children to drink.

It's a pleasure to meet another Aramaic scholar. Would you please e-mail me your source that indicates eating and drinking someone in that era, when spoken in Aramaic, exclusively means you must persecute them. I've not yet come across that in my research.

Omigod no more Jesus questions please. People seem to take the bible so damn literally here. If you become atheist or agnostic like me, you wouldn't care.
By the way, you can probably buy some Jesus toast on eBay for a bargain.

It is metaphorical you small boy.
To eat is to appropriate. This has nothing to do with languages.
It is the use of eating and the use of drinking that is universal and that is to appropriate to oneself something good and true or something evil and false. Your choice!
